Quick Pledge Data: Batch Files

Thursday, September 29th, 2011

Are you entering each of your pledges from Quick Pledge manually?

You have the option to receive pledge data in a consolidated in a daily batch file that you can import into your membership database or upload for processing, and we recommend this option.

With the secure encrypted batch files, the pledge data comes in once per day, allowing you to receive and process the day’s pledges all at once, rather than tracking and processing individual donations throughout the day.  Batch pledges files are easier to import into your membership database as well, and can be formatted to match your membership database.

Data filters are available for:

  • Allegiance
  • Enterprise
  • Memsys
  • Scout
  • Team Approach
  • Custom formats and more

You can always get up-to-the-minute results with the real-time reporting tools in Quick Pledge and via the pledge email notification option so you keep track of your totals.

Composer Pro: ABCs of Playlist Entry

Friday, November 5th, 2010

With Composer Pro, you can enter playlist info before, during, or after your show. You’ll find more detailed instructions in our user guide.

Enter Songs Manually

  • You can enter song information, one at a time, using our web interface. This works particularly well if you add songs as you go during your show.
  • Click Add/Edit playlist, and follow the steps to add songs.
  • When adding songs, you can search for the song in database, or enter it manually.
  • Be sure to click the ‘Make Playlist Live’ button after you enter the first song.

Importing Playlist Info

Often, it’s faster to import a playlist file. You can import playlists one at a time, or import all the playlists for one day from one file.  When importing a playlist, first create an importable playlist file using Microsoft Excel, a text editor like Notepad or export from compatible Scheduling Software.

Tuesday, June 1st, 2010

We continue to improve Public Interactive Composer Pro based on your needs and feedback. Here are a few new features in the works right now.

Improving Playlist Import

Filters: We recently updated the playlist import filters for Composer Pro and continue to think about ways to make this task easier for stations. Here is the current complete list of playlist import filters:

  • Music Master
  • Music Librarian
  • Music Director
  • Selector
  • SoundExchange
  • Generic tab delimited text

We’re also currently starting to work on an option to import a full day’s worth of playlist information from one file. Stay tuned!

We’re also working on a few smaller updates, like updating the order of the Add Song Manually fields so that the SX required fields are listed together and improving the way you enter syndicated programs into your schedule.
